In winter, the region is transformed into a winter wonderland that offers excellent opportunities for skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing. Enjoy the snow-covered landscape on a romantic horse-drawn sleigh ride or relax in our wellness area after an active day.

In winter, skiing is the focus, and Kronplatz is one of the world's excellent ski areas. San Vigilio is also located in the heart of the famous Dolomiti Superski ski area, which includes the Sella Ronda. With Dolomiti Superski, you can cross 12 ski areas, use 450 ski lifts and enjoy unlimited winter fun on around 1,200 kilometers of slopes!

With Karin Skiing or Alex snowshoeing and then tobogganing down, we offer you this once a week, you are cordially invited to join in. If you are interested, we can also accompany you to a hut on touring skis so that you can enjoy this unique winter landscape in peace and quiet. You can book touring and piste skiing with us at a discounted price from a ski rental company.

Our program includes a fixed day of skiing with Karin, the owner of the hotel. Once a week, she will take you to the most beautiful ski slopes in the Dolomiti Superski area, after discussing with you which one you prefer.

Where does the snowshoe hike take place?

The starting point of the snowshoe hike is usually the Fanes or Sennes hut. We reach the huts with a snowcat, which is chargeable. The start is the Pederue car park. We provide snowshoes free of charge.

Is sledding dangerous?

After the snowshoe hike, we ride the sled back to the parking lot. From the Sennes hut only for experts, from the Fanes hut for everyone, but caution is the top priority. Infants must be accompanied by parents. The toboggans are provided by us free of charge. If someone wishes, you can also go back down to the valley with the snowcat, but for a fee.
